This property is on a major travel atery, making it convenient and easy to find. The rooms are spacios and have the amenitities needed for a room such as a fridge, hair dryer and some cable stations on the tv. A great continental breakfast is available for two hours in the morning. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. No housekeeping entered my room for the three days I stayed. So, no trash emptied, no new towels replacing used ones. This was not mentioned during my entry with the desk staff. I would stay here again.

We fully enjoyed our stay at this Baymont. You can tell the property is older, but everything was in good shape and things like the paint and flooring look like they've been redone recently. Our room, bathroom area, heat/AC, and everything functioned just fine. Pool and hot tub were great! Hot tub is large, strong jets, very warm. Breakfast was also great- a TON of choices include quite a bit of hot food including eggs, chorizo, and more. For a budget hotel, this was a great stay! Recommended.

The shower head is very poor, the water comes as like in the tap and water in the bath tub is not draining. Als in the tub hairs all cleaned, we seen bugs in the bathroom. Overall bathroom was very poor and the room is neat and clean.

Old Rooms and Lots of Weed

Hotel is pretty old. Doors are wooden and look like they are straight from the 1970s. Rooms are also pretty dated though everything but the bathroom was clean…bathroom was pretty filthy. Beds were firm but good. Front desk check in was difficult. The pool was pretty nice. The worst part was the people smoking weed were all over the parking lot, in an outside stairwell, in their cars, and at the ends of the building. The smell of marijuana was over powering and made me feel bad about bringing my son there. There are better options in Grand Haven. I suggest paying a little more and finding them.

Hotel and people were very nice. Included breakfast was great. Only suggestion is to use less chlorine/chemicals in the pool. We couldn’t swim or use hot tub without breathing issues.

A happy customer

I was there for work. The hotel was very clean. They left plenty of linen in the room. The staff were very professional & polite. The breakfast was excellent & I loved that they had coffee available 24 hours. The hotel is also close to many fast food places, if that’s what you like & Meijer is right down the street. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

If they offer you room 222, don’t plan on getting any sleep. It’s located above an equipment or boiler room that is loud as an airplane. Off and on all night. Staff knows / knew about this room’s issue.
