Great staff, facility a bit old but very well kept. The only downside and no fault of the facility is significant construction nearby, both road work and new hotel construction next door. Night time was relatively quiet and we slept well.

Disappointing Stay with Multiple Issues"

I had a disappointing stay. Upon check-in, the room smelled strongly of bleach, and although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, both the room and hallway had a cigarette smell. The bed blanket had a cigarette burn hole. I reported it to the front desk, but they just laughed it off. The shower also didn't work properly, with no water coming out to shower. Given the high price for one night, I am very dissatisfied and recommend looking for a better hotel.

Maintenance

The wifi was out while we were there. We stayed here last week also and the elevators stopped working. The ice machine on the second floor was not working both times. We stayed at a Hampton in Wilson, NC last week and this week. Everything works there

Trash truck facility nearby trash trucks passing noisy 5:30am poor sound insulation. Bedding overdue for replacement. Pillows terrible. Mattress hard. No sleep. Breakfast above average , staff excellent.
