Book Cockermouth hotels

Amazing service, beautiful room, excellent situation although clearly some building work going on we had a brilliant experience will book for autumn. No problems

Rooms require some repainting and stairwell is very dull and dark with most windows needing repair and repainting. The cocktails were fantastic though. As the restaurant closes early it would be nice to have cheese and biscuits available in the bar area in the evening

Warm comfortable room in lovely hotel that is walking distance from lake. House was where Beatrix Potter took holidays & she eventually bought it for her mother. Love the whimsical touches such as carpets & wallpaper. Easy private parking included. Stairs to rooms on first & second floors but staff help with luggage if needed. Dinner & breakfast at the hotel restaurant were good.

Only problem was photo id never asked last time we stayed there for it just by luck we had it with us other couple didn't everything else was good

Great hotel and location, welcoming staff that couldnt do enough for you. Will definately revisit

Hotel was in very poor condition and unkempt rooms
