This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Do not book this hotel if you have a late flight. Our flight came in late and I messaged the hotel beforehand. The online choice hotels policy says you can check in anytime before 7am. The Sleep Inn booking listing/confirmation also says that check in is open until 6am. Due to a late flight /rental car delays, we arrived a little after 4:30am which is hours before the check in cut off times.
The employee working at the front desk that night said we were too late (contrary to the policies posted online) and he could not check us in or else he would be fired. Expedia tried to call and resolve the issue but he eventually stopped answering the phone. This employee told us there was no manager who could be contacted and that he had no idea when a manager would come to work and that he did not have a number for a manager. He also represented that there was no corporate help number for sleep inn/choice hotels and that there was nobody to contact to address situations that arise. That is shocking to me that a hotel would leave an incompetent staff member without a way to contact help if a situation arises. That is not a safe practice for a hotel, as many situations can arise at hotels that need proper support. This staff member was incredibly unhelpful and rude and showed no desire to help us. We had to sleep in our car. Sleep inn breached its duties and public representations and I would not feel safe staying here again.
