I booked a handicapped room when I got there they had me booked on the second floor with only stair access and not a handicapped room. The elevator was an old one and apparently they didn’t allow people to use it. The room I was given was a room that should not have been rented out. The only good thing about it was the beds! They at least were comfortable. The bathroom was so bad. Old, towels were stained, tub and shower curtain was dirty. The chairs in the room were so stained I wouldn’t sit in them. The walls were dirty. Just an overall bad experience. I know this is under new ownership or at least is what we were told but they should have never put someone in this room and to charge me 160.00!!! So disappointing!!!

Room wouldn't lock

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location was good. We had two connecting rooms - thank goodness. One of the room doors wouldn't lock. I reported it to the manager and he said it would be fixed. When we returned later that evening, we found that the only thing from keeping people from entering our room was the D loop that goes over the knob at the top portion of the door. They didn't even offer to discount the room.

Staff was rude upon arrival. When I commented on rudeness staff continued to argue with me! Had issue with reservation. Had to call booking company to fix. Place was so old! We stayed there many times before. Never had such bad experience before! There are many other places to stay. Never again will we stay there or recommend it for anyone else!

Great place to stay!!

The desk attendant (not sure how to spell his name) was an excellent host! He was personable, attentive, and took the time to remember individual names! The attendant was very knowledgeable of area attractions and recommended very fun things to do! If youre looking for a place to stay, this is it!!

Super easy to check in and they take people under 21, close to the ferry sites for easy access, even walking distance if you're up for a longer walk

Who gave the good reviews?!

Rated 8.0 on hotels.com with raving reviews. Checked in to our first room…it smelled horribly of mold, curtains were broken and dangling. Food (expired) and items were left in dresser from previous guests. I asked to switch and they swiftly gave me a new room. The new room smelled of smoke, broken curtains and the walls were so dirty, rusty lamp and door frames. The pool and breakfast were ok. Would not recommend!
