We were not told of the $38 per day mandatory valet parking charge. After the first night, I told the front desk (and gave them a note in writing) that the light by our fridge, microwave was not working and asked them to fix it - they never did. This was a 4 night stay. Although the room was "straightened" every day, some days it was after 5pm. I was told they did the "checkouts" first and got to all rooms before 6pm.

Room and hotel were clean and nicely appointed. The street/garage entrance to a sterile vestibule with nothing but elevators up to the main decorated lobby on the 4th floor was a bit of an odd set-up but the valet team and check-in staff were super-friendly. Great New Year's Eve party and views of the fireworks from the rooftop. I do wish there was more clarity about what "breakfast included" entails when part of your booking. We were told upon check-in that anything on the limited breakfast menu (up to $20) and a regular drip coffee were included (lattes/espressos and specialty coffees were extra). For the first 3 mornings, the cafe staff were all very friendly and provided the breakfast as described. On the 4th and final morning, a pretty unfriendly woman behind the cafe counter argued that black drip coffee was NOT included and I would need to pay for it. When I explained that was contrary to what I was told at check-in and what had been provided the previous 3 mornings, she did eventually relent but was still quite argumentative and abrasive about it saying that everyone else was wrong. After ordering, I walked across the lobby to talk to the front desk staff about the interaction and while they were very friendly and apologetic for her behavior, they also admitted that they weren't even 100% clear on what the full "breakfast included" rules were. In the end, not a huge deal but just kind of left a bad taste on the final morning after an otherwise pretty good stay.

There was only one person working the front desk. It took a long time to check in. No dresser for our clothes, bad view from the patio, $38 a day for a valet parking only, no free breakfast, the refrigerator was small and it only stayed on for a couple hours. The bathroom faucet was bad.

This was a nice place. Great location. Be aware it’s valet parking only, that has a daily rate. I had a room with a balcony which was nice and really close to the beach, like 2-3 minute walk. Only bad part was some stains on the bathroom tile but it was under the sink area

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. If there's ever something we needed as in more towels or whatnot They definitely took care of us. The staff there was outstanding! Our bartender Kelly was also great and could not have gotten better hospitality.
