Only one of our rooms was larger. We thought both rooms would be upgraded with the VIP benefit. Breakfast very nice with fresh fruit. Lovely staff. Clean but tired rooms, old furniture and carpeting. Musty smell when entering room. Nice that the building is historic but the whole interior needs refreshing and renovation. I noticed first floor rooms had no carpet and looked much better. Would recommend because of service and bkfst but with some hesitation because of the rooms. We chose because of price on busy weekend but it is 20 min from waterfront.

If you want to smell like mold, this is your place to be! Although the staff was great, and so is the breakfast Buffett, everything else is sub par. Our room smelled disgusting, the level of cleanliness is of the room itself is 2 stars at most! Location is great, quiet, safe and also a lot of parking availability.

It was not a corporate cookie-cutter hotel. Staff was friendly and breakfast was very good with china and silverware-not paper and plastic. A nice perk was easy availability of extra towels and toiletry next to the elevator.

The staff was really great, everyone we met! Breakfast was good, coffee was good. The bed was a little firmer than I care for but not uncomfortable. Pretty area, lots of history in the area cobblestone roads. We’d stay there again.

What a wonderfully lovely place to stay. Rooms are large and roomy and the bathroom is too, with excellent friendly staff and a wonderful continental breakfast included. They have made the necessary technological upgrades to make your stay enjoyable without losing the old world, charm and history. We will definitely be back! 😀

A historic building (1915) kept reasonably well. The staff were excellent and welcoming. The breakfast is really good. Had a very peaceful and comfortable sleep, Parking was easy if you were back to the hotel early evening, otherwise parking on street overnight. The location is good - just a short ride over the causeway to the beaches. Not much around (in terms of stores or restaurants) but ok for a morning walk.
