Staff was friendly. Room was adequate. We had a gulf front room which was nice, but there were a few big unattractive trees (not palm trees) between the pool area and the ocean. We could hear the music from the pool area when we had our balcony doors open which was awesome until we realized that it was the same exact songs every single day. Also, could not check out on the tv as stated. Had to go to the front desk to check out. Wifi worked well

It has a lot of fun activities for every age. The staff was very friendly and the Rum Fish Grill has awesome food with great atmosphere. The huge fish tanks are impressive. The gym and room could use some updates. Some areas were under construction from the last hurricane.

Pools were soooo warm, much appreciated during this cooler week! The room was nice, and having many pools and hot tubs kids could go in anytime of day or night was great. Having access to essentially unlimited towels also is great. I was disappointed with the lack of options for a cooler week, would be nice if alternative indoor activities occurred instead when the weather isn’t cooperating, as most of the activities didn’t happen (art classes cancelled, paddle boats closed, slide not set up, etc.) Totally appropriate to not have these things available during cooler weather but not having indoor alternatives for families that are here is a missed opportunity/deterrent, especially given the cost of the resort. The communication about cancelled activities was also poor and could be sent out through the app when things get moved, cancelled or rescheduled.

They were extremely accommodating. We had a couple issues with our first room, but they were quick to get us an upgrade and worked to get that upgrade at a discount. All the staff were extremely friendly and we would recommend this for future stays.

Staff was very friendly and helpful; enjoyed getting to know some of them! Gorgeous beach and nice amenities. Rooms were average but the wet bar/mini kitchen was wonderful. Appreciated Sun Runner and Freebee ride options so rental car was not necessary. Gulfside had wonderful breakfasts; RumFish Grille dinner was a bit disappointing but there are SO many wonderful local dining options! Overall very happy with our week at RumFish Beach at TradeWinds - even though we had cooler than average temps.

Beware the extra fees!

This property is recovering from Hurricane Helene and so it is in pretty rough condition. That said, the room itself was fine and they have done a good job of getting pools and other guest services cleaned and ready to go. Still, there is a long way to go. The primary concern is that there was an extra "resort fee" tacked on. I am aware of resort fees in general but here they charged one on Hotels.com and then ANOTHER at the hotel. It made the hotel a not-very-good-deal in the end and those deceptive practices just taint the whole experience. Also, the beds were super uncomfortable- like sleeping in a hammock. The walls are also very thin and there was a screaming infant next door for multiple hours (security was responsive and found the mother at the bar!) It just has a rust-belt feel to it all. The food was mediocre at best. Would not go back.

Amazing job cleaning up after the recent hurricanes. Outdoor bar/patio area is being rebuilt currently, but still able to enjoy outdoor seating, pools, hot tub, and other activities. They need the tourism to return to the resorts.
