We loved being so close to the beach and having the lounge chairs on the beach included in our stay. That was great!! They had done a lot of work to get up and running. We appreciated that as well. We love the white sand and sunsets. This is a great place for those longings. There were no bathrooms around the pool open. We figured they were closed b/c of hurricane situation. But no they opened them like 3 days after we got there. They needed cleaned? What an inconvenience. We did not like the music constantly playing by the pool. If you are going to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves, you will have to go to the ocean/beach to get away from music. Don't expect to have quiet by the pool. The music played fro 13hrs every day. Not low but very loud in volume. The good thing was that the bedroom is located on opposite side of pool. So could get away from the sound, but not the vibration of the music. They had live music every night by the pool as well. Rum fish grill was good, but very limited selection and costly.Cost to eat in St Pete is high everywhere we went. Staff were all nice, which is a great perk! Coffee on site another nice feature, $11 for two coffees. There are several restaurants close by walking distance. Beach location and chairs on the beach is by far the only reason we may stay again.

Property is in a good location, nice beach access, room was clean. Was disappointed though, and the hotel felt run down. Furniture drawers were jammed, faucets dripped, shower leaked, room safe wouldn’t lock, room door didn’t shut tight without putting some muscle into it, hammocks by pool were threadbare and barely usable. Restaurant service was very slow, maybe understaffed? At breakfast took server long time to bring silverware out which caused food to get cold. At Rumfish Grille, took an hour to just get appetizer, let alone entrees (though they did comp one meal).

You definitely will not starve, there’s so many places within walking distance. The resort itself along with its main Resort is a huge property., Plenty to see and do. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back.

i was in town for a funeral. Due to the Grand Prix, I was unable to find any other rooms available. They have worked VERY hard to recover from the hurricane. If I was not a native of St. Pete, I would enjoy a resort like the Rum Fish.

For the amount of money I paid per night, this hotel was awful. At check-in, had problems with A/C unit being very loud - they did nothing and didn't change my room. Next morning, got in shower and hot water lasted approximately 3 minutes - was that way rest of stay. Staff not helpful at all - would not recommend this hotel. Very disappointing.

“Resort view” was disappointing. It was set up Like a motel with no balcony to ourselves. Understaffed at front desk. Had to request our room be cleaned. Location is good. Beach was great.

Here we go: the room smelled like pure mold and mildew, asked for towels 4 times and never got them, the walk trough the dark garage and dark areas felt very unsafe, bathroom had a broken towel rack that kept falling off the wall, shower was humid because there was no vent, couch had food crumbs and orange powder when we walked in, it was a very small room for a double queen suite, also lights on the 3rd floor outside were completely out making it completely blackout. Pools are just ok. Also if you checkin with 4 people you were only allowed 1 set of chairs even though you are paying extra for 4 people. I'm very disappointed after doing research, I thought it was a good place and I felt like I was in a run-down motel.

Most of english speaking staff were rude and not willing to go above and beyond. We needed laundry soap and was told by several staff to go to the 711. We were also told we could buy in the gift shop but she told us you didn’t have any. If your going to have laundry for guests why is there no laundry soap? Guests dont want to but a large bottle while visiting. Also… our room (3833) carpet was disgusting. I’m sure you’ve been shampooing it, but have done so many times, that it’s overloaded with soap and crusty. It definitely needs replacement. On a positive note, we did find a few staff members that were very kind. In particular, the older gentleman that takes care of the beach accommodations, one of your bartenders on the outside beach side, also, one of the waitresses from your restaurant. I wish I would’ve gotten their names so you could give them special commendations.
