Great location

Upon arrival, check in was easy. The location was great. The house itself was clean, and had beach accessories for us to use. They were doing construction in the hallway… but other than that it was perfect! We would definitely stay again!

Overall good stay

Our family stayed for 5 nights. Great stay with the condo and had all the beach stuff you need. The only down fall was the bar cool vibes in the same building as our condo. This was not listed on the VRBO. I love bars but bringing 2 small kids not appropriate being the music played till 3am our first night there. It was a good area close to the beach but the bar music kind of put a damper on things with our kids.

Access to the beach!

Both the ocean route and street route to my conference venue were peaceful and had their perks! Street route had so much ice cream, a corner store for all my immediate needs, and tourist shops so I could get a magnet for my fridge. Plus it’s near Basil Leaf, my favorite restaurant in town. The ocean route had giant boulders as a landmark for where I should turn at night to get back home. Access to the ocean is an imperative for me and this place has it! Host communicated with us how to access the unit, the place was under construction while we were there but it did not obstruct our access, though there is a bar attached to the building which can get a little loud, but I was so zonked from my days that I was completely undisturbed! Thanks!!

Perfect for Beach Vacation!

We had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The condo was clean and well stocked with essentials. Great location just a few minutes walk from the beach and many restaurants and bars. The air conditioned condo was a welcomed retreat from the Florida sun after a day at the beach. Easy check in and out process. Overall, a great experience booking this property!

Nice repeat stay

The condo is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, and many bars and restaurants. Patricia supplied more things than I remember from our last stay, such as tissues, toilet paper, hand soap, dish detergent, garbage bags, new kitchen towels, sponge, dish cloth, and plenty of bath towels. The beds are very comfortable and I appreciated the fan for the bedroom. Kitchen is well stocked and there is extra shelf space to move extra plates and cups (there are MORE than enough) to put our own food. Easy free parking is steps away from the condo. The picture of the blue couch is no longer there and has been replaced with a comfortable double recliner. Looking forward to our stay next year.

Amazing location

Patricia was quick to respond and we loved having amazing beach access and so walkable to a ton of places. Nice set of beach chairs and extra beach towels were provided. Only one extra blanket for in the house though so if you like to have extra bring one. Be prepared to get everything you need at the grocery store for kitchen and cooking supplies, no basics like salt/pepper/oil. Minimalistic property but nothing really to complain about because its location really is perfect. Felt really safe here.

Gulf Winds Resort

Gulf Winds pool and surrounding area are excellent. Everything within walking distance. The room we rented was on the second floor, would not recommend for anyone that has joint problems. Had to call to get the refrigerator to work, it needs to be replaced. Light flickering in the kitchen. Biggest disappointment was no tv in the bedroom. Parking was easy.

Overall satisfied with our stay. Comfortable beds, new indoor A/C unit, kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom ceiling showed signs of a water leak from the unit above. The only negative was the bathtub calking around the edge where it meets the tile - moldy and should be recalked.

Love the beach

This was everything that was described and more. It was very clean, comfortable beds and furniture. The beach is across the street, pool is nice and relaxing. Everything is in walking distance you never need to drive anywhere.

Quiet stay close to the beach

Clean 2 bedroom condo around the corner from the beach. The building was incredibly quiet (very few people staying in January?). Kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools. Great restaurants and coffee up the street. Perfect for a quiet retreat.

Patty is the owner she was amazing answered all my questions immediately. Her condo was just perfect. It is such a great location. The pool was nice and clean. My brother came up from Nokomis for 3 days and then our friends came from Davenport the end of the week. It was a perfect vacation. We walked to a lot of restaurants and did a little sightseeing also. Would definitely recommend this condo😊
