Fast WiFi, which was what I needed for working remote. Great to have health and fitness accessories in room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom drain didn’t work and door lock was problematic so hotel condition was an issue. Front desk was helpful but limited by IHG systems. I tried to extend my visit but couldn’t.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. I loved the exercise equipment in the room and the lean toward health consciousness. The location of the Even Hotel is convenient, also, which made commuting to different places in Norwalk very easy for me. I have stayed here before and will stay again.

I had a very inconvenient issue with my room, around 1am I went to use the bathroom and the toilet was backed up. I didn’t throw and toilet paper in. It was the first time I used the bathroom since I was in there. I call the front desk and the lady sounded confused on what to do. Then said she will call me back. 15 mins later she calls back and says we don’t have a maintenance guy. So I asked if she had a plunger. So I can at least do it myself. She told me she will call me back after she Looks. Another 15 mins later. Says no plunger. I had to go down to the lobby and use the bathroom that way. The only thing she offered was to switch my room but now it’s 2 am. I had to pack all my things and make my way to the another room but I grabbed the key from downstairs. Went back up. Key wasn’t working. Went back down. Then she came with me. Now it opened. Next morning I went to call to see if they had breakfast. Now in this new room the phone wasn’t working. It was plugged in but anytime I hit the button. Nothing. I used my cell phone and now it was a different lady that said yes it’s downstairs and immediately hung up. I went down to speak with the lady and her response was “ I was busy, I apologize “ That was my experience. Room 360

Can't beat the value

Stayed here a number of times. It's perfect for a no hassle, affordable place to stay. Amenities are fairly basic, but the beds are super comfortable and staff is courteous. Everytime I stay I can't believe how inexpensive it is for how nice it is.

The front desk check-in was very slow. When I was finally checked in, I was handed my room cards, but the woman didn't tell me what room I was in! When I asked, she said, "I wrote it on the slip" (inside the card envelope), as if it was rude of me to ask!

The bed was heaven but the bathroom was larger than average with ample counter space for 2 to 3 people. Cleanest room ever experienced, better than a Fairmont.
