This Days Inn is expensive bc of the area.

This area's (State College) hotels are generally expensive even when compared with big city. I don't usually stay at Days Inn since they are generally sub-par but this time, that's a more affordable hotels in the area. So, had no choice. Luckily, this one wasn't bad at all. At least it's clean & room was a nice size.

Solid experience

Overall was great. The breakfast left something to be desired, but it was appreciated to see the coffee offered was from a local roaster. As a coffee roaster I appreciated seeing that they served something decent locally made. Room next door was a little noisy, again something to be desired but thanks to the air system it muted them out. Everything was clean and enjoyable otherwise and decent location to campus. Only a 5 min drive each morning. Staff was very friendly.
