Hotel 24 South is a superb place to stay in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. The historic building is modern and retains the grandeur of it's past. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is exemplary and if you are in town to see a production at The American Shakespeare Company, it is right next door and they're plays should not be missed on a visit to Staunton. Hotel 24 South was a revelation. Quiet, elegant and a wonderful destination.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel 24 for two nights. We enjoyed walking the city of Staunton and we attended a play the the American Shakespeare theater right next door to the hotel.

We didn’t care to be on a light well when the hotel was largely empty. A/C is also loud. But room is clean and everything worked. Staff was pleasant and the complimentary coffee was very good.
