Location was the best. 5 minutes from IAD and 7 minutes to 267. Lots of places to eat nearby. Breakfast was good and substantial. Now the rooms are old and super dated. Being winter the cold draft could be felt through the gap in the room door. The biggest issue I had was the lack of housekeeping. No one told me that you had to request housekeeping even to throw out the trash, replenish toiletries and coffee and water glasses or change towels.

Although we had booked a king room on the first floor, upon arrival they gave us a king room on the second floor. With bags for international travel this was not convenient and the reason why I had booked the first floor room. They did give us a first floor room, but it was two double beds. The airport shuttle ran later and earlier than stated, so we got an uber at 10pm when we could have taken the shuttle.

In the room was very cold, heater didnt work. I asked to give me the different room, and in the new room lights didnt work. I went to reception again …. They gave new keys to a tgird (!) room. Oh my God -finally everything worked!!!! But in the room still cold like i was outside.it took 2 hours to warm up the room. I was so tired and didnt want to go to the reception again and ask staff to help me. Very frustrating experience. And would not recommend this hotel to anyone nor would stay there ever myself.
