I was asked by text to complete a pre-arrival check-in, which I did, but still stood at the desk for 15 minutes while the clerk fumbled with the computer and asked me questions. So why waste my time texting me to complete a pre-arrival form? Although the staff was ok, when I asked the next morning if there was a room available so I could stay an extra night, I was told there were rooms available but would be $188 + taxes, after I had paid $95 total for the first night. The clerk wasn't very friendly about the inquiry. On the morning of check-out, every time I stepped out of my room, a cleaning person would ask if I was checking out. This was 2-3 hours before check-out. I really didn't care for being pressured like that.

I've been to La Quinta's before this is probably one of the worst ones I have been to. Very disappointed the breakfast was not very good. And the room was very very old and smelly. But I'll tell you one thing the bed was comfortable and clean that's the only positive thing. There was mold in the washroom bathtub.

Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was outdated but clean. Breakfast was small but at least they had one and the coffee was decent. Close to UWSP if visiting a student. Would stay again.

Pool area nice but heavy smell of chlorine. Exercise room small and funky smell. Room was adequate. Nothing special but clean with comfortable bed. Breakfast area clean with several food choices.

Check in was quick and friendly. Dog friendly stay was great. Breakfast and coffee were good. Would love to review the blueberry muffin, but my dog stole it when I wasn't looking. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cockroaches!

We found baby cockroaches in our sink and had a dead cockroach on a table in our room. We looked all over our room for more. We took a video of the sink and brought the dead cockroach down to the front desk and talked to Haydin who was working when we checked in. She was wonderful, apologetic, and tried to put us in a new room, but she said they were fully booked. We were in town for a soccer tournament and most of the team was staying at the Hampton. We tried calling there to get a different room, but they were fully booked too. We tried a few other places, but everyone was booked because of the busy weekend. Haydin was really nice and helpful, and told us to let her know if we had any other problems. Every time we came back to our room, we were checking for cockroaches and my 12 year old daughter was scared to sleep in the room. Overall, the help was wonderful, but we were disgusted with finding cockroaches in our room!
