Will definitely be coming back! Great location- couple minute drive from a lot of food and drink, <10-15 min drive from Stowe mountain. Hotel was homey and cozy with fireplaces in the room and around public areas. The staff were super nice and helpful. The spa was great too. I visited in the winter and it had an outdoor hot tub, indoor pool, sauna and steam room all open (there may be more in the summer).

We’ve been going to the Stoweflake for a few years now but this year seemed “off”. They had bare bones staff and everything seemed kind of worn/old like it needed a refresh. I was disappointed.

The location was great for access to Stowe Ski mountain- only about a 7 minute drive. It was also right in town, close to a lot of to restaurants and shopping. The hotel is also right at the corner of the free shuttle bus to the mountain. We enjoyed the breakfast- had enough options to feel full and fueled properly for fun. The room was beautiful, we loved the fireplace in the room, and the large whirlpool hot tub in our room. We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub in the snow! There were so many activites that were great for kids- indoor squash court, indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, game room with Wii , ping pong, pool, etc. Sauna and Steam room too! For the price- this hotel exceeded our expectations. Manager told us they were renovating- so i'd be excited to see how they improve.

Great skiing trip and Stoweflake was perfect very charming and cozy place. All of the staff were super nice and polite. Rooms were clean as well as the hotel. We def be coming back here.

Really enjoyed our stay at Stoweflake for our snowboard trip. It's not the newest game in town but it has that classic New England ski lodge look and feel (including a circular layout). That's our vibe and so it was perfect for us. Rooms were large and clean and could accommodate snowboards and gear for 3 people and not feel like a sweaty cramped mess (including a large bathroom). Great for kids with the Indoor heated pool. It has a hot tub (definitely) and sauna (I think) (we didn't use them) and a comprehensive gym (which I did use) that has free weights/Smith machine/bench, a bunch of Cybex machines, balance boards, treadmills, etc. There is also cookies and tea/coffee every day from 4-6ish and that became a thing for us to come and play games we brought and have cookies. There are really nice lounge areas in each of the sections with sofas and armchairs and a fireplace. Oh and the best thing if you're here to ski/board at Stowe is the bus stop is right out front and it is FREEEEEE. Just get your gear on and hop on the bus (otherwise it's $30 for <4 people). It worked well for us b/c you can come and go and not have to wait for everyone. Good food is close by—1/2 mile for sushi and BBQ and walkable for really good vegetarian middle eastern food and a really nice coffee shop.

Our family had a good stay at the hotel. Enjoyed the afternoon tea with the cookies right next to the fireplace and after a long day at the slopes it was very refreshing.

We were booked for the side wing of motel-like rooms and there was an immediate smell of mold in the room. I am allergic to mold. Because we were only staying one night, we were moved to the main building. That room was lovely! Two beds. Spacious room. And a fireplace! Def book the main building!

Stoweflake needs a major update. I felt like I was stepping into the 80s. Our room was clean but everything was outdated and not in the best conditions. Pictures were sitting on the floor, not on walls. Door barely opened and was stuck. Tub was grimy and wouldn't drain.
