The property and staff were nice. The location seemed like a good idea - on the Main Street, great for walking after dinner. Unfortunately, the Main Street wasn’t very pleasant after dark. Just a few bars open, with drunken patrons hanging out on the sidewalk. Late into the night, locals revving their engines as they race up and down the main drag outside the hotel. That was a Wednesday night. Overall, the hotel was nice. Too bad about the location.

Very Nice Hotel

The hotel was awesome. In a good spot to walk to some awesome bars and cool little shops. The only complaint that I would have is the Continental breakfast was just not replenish to often. Also would like for an ice machine on each floor. But overall it was a great stay.

The Penn Stroud is a nicely appointed hotel. The beds are very comfortable. It is a downtown property with adequate parking. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in walking distance.
