We asked for Queen rooms. We did not realize Queen bed rooms are only on the second floor. All the double bed rooms are on the first floor. The person I was traveling with cannot climb stairs. There was no mention that the rooms would be on the second floor and that there is no elevator. The advertisement of the breakfast said there would be egg and sausage options for breakfast. Yet, when we got there it was all 100% carb options. At 8:30 in the morning there were four pieces of bread, three muffins, three containers of yogurt, the waffle maker was on, and you could get cold cereal and juice. There was the remnants biscuits and gravy; four very hard biscuits and the gravy had long since been eaten up. For people who can't have a carb intense diet, like us, we had no option but to go elsewhere to eat. Finally, the bathroom was extremely tiny. With the door going inward you literally had to go in, turn around, sit down and then try to close the door. If you have any mobility issues, like the person I was traveling with has, don't ever stay at this hotel.

Do NOT stay here. The first room we had, the room cards didn’t work. So down the steps around the hotel and up the stairs to the next room with all our belongings. P

Rooms were clean. However, the bathroom was very small and hard to maneuver in. Also, I was in a poolside room. That was okay, but the noise level was so bad I couldn't sleep. I don't know where the noise came from, it sounded like a very loud air conditioner, but I didn't have it on. It was like a loud motor or something. I got no sleep.

Clerk that check us in was a big boy not sure name but whilst checking in told us about how non of the keys were working other nite the choas it caused .. told stories of many people that were here for stay .... i asked if hot was working he replied i have been it for a couple of days ..... um k didnt ask if he got in but does it work..... Then he checks us in too room 40 about to leave he changes his mind on room given because " it was above his""""" room thought we make too much noise he wanted sleep.... wth!!! Also mentioned he gave guest master keys to their room because of key issues!!! Wow security issue!!!!! Give access to all rooms .We did use hot tub i showered still high chlorine it littery made my black swim suite gray smell attached to me for days. Hotel under construction looked runned down... and directly next to train tracks!!! Not on info should really be! If i hadnt already paid i would of left!

The hills right next to the hotel was cool and the pool and hot tub were very nice, the room itself was very outdated (carpet coming up in spots, furniture placed in weird areas, lack of amenities) the room basically looked like a cheap landlord making cheap fixes.

Electric out, snow end of May ,kid at the desk was outstanding May 18 afternoon shift, only complaint food at breakfast was cold gravy put in steamer not heated first biscuit like bricks.

There is no AC, our room was 80° and the one front staff didn't seem to care. Thankfully later in the day there was a really tall younger guy who was helpful and nice.

This hotel is doing updates sounds this is a new owner. My room was just ok-the bed was very comfy, the shower was amazing, and the staff were very helpful. There are a few things they need to work on, the sink in my room did not run water and the key cards have issues.

I accidently booked w ur lodge in Sturgis,SOUTH DAKOTA! I am in Indiana. This whole thing had been awful! I can't afford to throw money away! I took my disabled dad away for a couple days, just to get him out of the house for a couple days. No good deed, huh? It's just been awful

The air conditioning didn't work. The beds were less than Full size. There was no breakfast, NO COFFEE! I totally understand renovations. There are ways to make it work. You could have coffee urns in the lobby area, basket of fruit and granola bars-at least then people think that your trying.
