Our room was not very clean. Then we found bugs all over our mattress. We didn’t discover this until 1am when we were all very itchy. I spoke with someone at the front desk and was showed her pictures. I was told someone would reach out to me, but it’s been over a week now and haven’t heard anything. Not the best way to start a vacation with your family.
Bathroom sink had to be manually held open to drain. Checked in , left Monday. Hotel said they do not have maintenance person on duty on weekends. Also bar closed Saturday and Sunday because they did not have a bartender.
This was a very nice hotel - very nice rooms. Pool area w fire pit was really nice as well. The parking was not so good especially if you were coming in late night. Additionally, I had an issue with my room where my door jammed/locked my daughter and I out - maintenance had to be called to undo the lock to let us in to get our things and they had to move us to another room. Staff was very nice - and they did compensate us for our inconvenience. Overall this was a really nice hotel/nice stay. I would stay here again.
Two nights in a row a group of people congregated extremely loudly around the fire pit that was located directly under our room window. They were out there until 5 a.m. We made several complaints to the front desk and nothing was done to resolve the situation.
