Needs Improvement

Starting with the positives… Equinox property, spa and main hotel is beautiful. Front desk staff was helpful. Cleaning team does a great job given the age of the property. Negatives for us were not getting into our room until 6pm. Hidden cleaning fees for the Townhouses on top of the resort fees. The TV in the family room was broken. We called 6x during the course of 3 days and were told someone would fix it and they never did. The townhouses were as clean as they could be given they are in desperate need of TLC and updates. There is mold in the closets which is super concerning. Pool is beautiful and hot tub is super fun in the snow but the puddling around the pool is a definite safety hazard for small children. And gross for adults. I hate sharing negative feedback but I know it’s helpful to the hotel so they can improve and also for travelers with young kids when deciding where to stay/how to spend their money.

Vermont Getaway

We had a lovely stay with our dog in this historic and charming Southern Vermont sprawling property. The common areas were a delight and the food was very well crafted and served with local ingredients. From the sauna to the hiking trails to the complimentary coffee/tea bar to the live music to the amazing cocktails — nothing disappointed.

I have visited this property over a span of 20 years, and while it has so much potential, the property is dilapidated. No hot water in showers, peeling paint and wall paper, and a mixed level of service. We will not stay here angain until there's a true renovation.

The king room is very spacious. However, the tub would not drain, the entry light would not turn on and the elevators are a little old and rickety. The property sprawls a large area so it’s a little bit of a walk to get to the lobby from the parking. We went for a wedding and the event space was very pretty, but dated. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our little weekend get away to Manchester VT. It’s such a cute town and the Equinox was the perfect place to stay. We ate at the restaurant, played games by the cozy fire, swam in the pool, went to the spa while my husband played a round of golf which he loved. We really couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We loved it!

Very beautiful historic building. I've always wanted to stay there. I finally did, and there were strands of hair in the bathtub. Beds/linens were very comfortable, but overall the cover was better than the book.

My family of four stayed here over Columbus Day weekend. I was expecting a high end hotel but found it to be an average and highly overpriced. It seems to be severely lacking in staff. The room was comfortable but very thin walls. We enjoyed the easy access to trails behind the property. I don’t recommend eating at the hotel. Food was fine but expensive and we ate better nearby at Nippers Cafe for breakfast and Mulligan’s for dinner.
