Checking in was a little confusing as I called Best Western before I booked through Expedia to see if I could get my AARP discount and he said yes. When I got there, they said no discount but were kind enough to apply the discount. Plus I booked a room with a balcony and sleep sofa and got a different room with no balcony. Toothpaste was still on the counter on the bathroom. Maids were slamming doors at 8:15.

The on-site restaurant named Tempestas was excellent and a huge plus for our 3-night stay. We ate there every night and were pleased with the food, service, atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. On a broader note, the hotel was nice, staff very helpful and I should mention that the breakfast one of the best I've had on 3 continents, aided by a hostess who was friendly and took lots of pride in serving hot food and keeping the food and coffee fresh.

Once we switched rooms it was much better. In the first room, the window hinge did not work and we couldn’t close the window. It was very cold. Additional annoying things with this room were the window looked at a brick wall and the room phone wire was broken.
