When I walked into the foyer of the lobby, the glamour of the entrance excited me! Also, it smelled super-clean and I was happy about the on-site restaurant. I was in Tampa for the Millennium Tour and the hotel was only about a 7 minute drive from Ybor and 5 mins from the nearest mall. Definitely love the area. The only downfall was the lack of breakfast.

Was surprised by the Mexican grill with flashing lights and loud music attached to hotel. Not happy about noise from pool area at night and the super loud clanging of gates to get into pool area. Sounded like fun shots. Room was okay except for beetles or roaches wandering about. Lastly bathroom could have been much cleaner. Thought we would fall through the terribly soft and squishy shower floor.

Meh.

Overall, the stay was fine. The room was definitely not as clean as it could be. Especially the bathroom. The hotel is old and very few upgrades to the rooms. If the lobby had been a good indicator of the rest of the property it would have been great. The tv in our room picked up nothing. No internet, no cable. We booked for the poolside bar and they don’t even use it apparently. The parking lot gets VERY full at night with the connecting restaurant traffic. Overall, meh. Overpriced for what you get.

I tired to book a room for my daughter and her 2 babies yesterday as she was experiencing a domestic violent situation. I tired calling the front desk to explain the situation so that I would be charged for the room and deposit and she could just get some much needed rest. I called and the guy immediately hung up on me saying I booked through Expedia. She arrived and the front desk said she needed to pay for the room since I wasn't there in person. My daughter is crying , I'm listening the entire time and asked to speak to the lady. She refused and got belligerent with my daughter. 2 crying babies, very tired , clinging to their mother and the lady wouldn't even assist her in getting her signed in after my daughter paid for the room herself....... The tv was broken..... Nothing to eat anywhere near by. My daughter left after a few hours. I have only written one negative review in my life. this is the second. Don't stay there!

Staff was good Had initially a problem with TV and room phone. Staff moved us and helped with TV but said if we need to call them we'll have to use our cell phone their phone system down.

Stay elsewhere!

Had to call desk to order housekeeping for the next day. And even then they didn’t show up. Several times were without clean towels ir washcloths. Had to pay an extra $84 resort fee - pool was not heated. Hot breakfast consisted of 3 waffle makers. On Saturday night there was nowhere to park so had to jeep driving around the lot til someone left the connected restaurant/club. There was plenty of space in the room but the only place to sit was at the desk chair or on the bed. No table was in the room. There was a refrigerator but it only had 1 shelf, and it froze everything the first night. The floor needed a good scrubbing-my socks will never be white again! Will never stay here again.
