The first floor smelled like sewage. The decor was dark and unwelcoming. We were not informed by Expedia or Hyatt that there was $100 a night pet fee although we booked a ‘pet friendly’ room. The fee should have been included at booking, or at the very minimum, clearly noted.

The valets and bell staff were amazing and very helpful. The room was nice and clean. So I’m saying that up to the lobby entrance was great and leaving the lobby was great. Unfortunately the whole lobby area had an awful stink. So much so that some of the staff had on face masks. There was obviously an accident with sewage or bodily waste. And I know these things can happen but there was no acknowledgement of the problem. No apology or explanation given. We were only there one night, so have no other to compare it to.
