We stayed here for our daughter’s softball tournament. The caboose car rooms were a unique experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the property and surrounding area. There was a restaurant. Horse/Buggy ride and animals to pet/feed on the property. The Strasburg Train Museum and train ride were conveniently close. The borough of Strasburg is quaint with beer/food options. We would recommend staying here for your Lancaster County stays!

if you are looking for comfort, this is not it. but if you have children this is exciting, and they loved it. they loved sleeping in a real train. they loved the animals. they loved everything about being here. the food was great!!! was conveniently located to sight and sound and other attractions.

I stayed in the farmhouse & it was gorgeous! Designed to be a bridal suite during wedding season, it had lots of mirrors, great lighting and two very comfortable Murphy beds. Shower was new with rain forest head. Cannot say enough good things about property & staff.
Think of bridesnaids getting ready here! Outlets galore!

This place is being remodeled and the units that have been remodeled look amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t get one of those. The carpet was old and the bunk beds did not look safe. Our teenage girls would not climb up to sleep on them for fear of them falling. More bracing would have helped. We only ate ice cream at the restaurant and it was a bit over priced. The service appeared slow so we didn’t return. It is in a very convenient location, close to so much to do.

Great experience for a train buff

Sleeping in a caboose is a one of the coolest things I've ever done! It was cozy and romantic. It would have been blast to do with small kids. The grounds are beautiful and it was awesome to sit on the front patio and watch the steam engine go by several times during the day. The staff was amazing!
