1st time staying here, would stay again! Spacious king bed room, 6 great pillows on bed & a Pendleton wool blanket to use! The 2 easy chairs (with arms) were a plus. Refrigerator freezer very small, but front desk able to keep our ice pack in freezer in their banquet room.

The room was hot, the ac couldn’t keep up. I didn’t realize that could be an issue until after we had checked in. Staff was readily available and helpful and gave us 2 fans. Small pool, hot tub and restaurant on site. Office was staffed 24 hours a day and had coffee and yummy cookies. Overall a good stay, but I likely wouldn’t stay there on a 95 degree summer day, but wouldn’t hesitate in cooler months!

I live out of the Dalles and visit a few times a year to take training for wildland fire fighting. This hotel is close to thw training center and I just love the vibe of it overall. Good food at the restaurant and the bar on site enables me to enjoy my evenings without worrying about driving around town.

I was skeptical about this place but was pleasantly suprised by the comfort of the room. It's maybe a little outdated but the bed was very comfortable and I probably had the best night sleep here on our 10 day trip. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. While you're there check out the restaurant because it was very good.
