Silver Lake Cottage is newly renovated & remodeled. It is fresh, clean & the perfect up north retreat! Enjoy time by the lake with 60 feet of private frontage on 600 acre all-sports Silver Lake, *private dock with great swimming & sandy bottom, & bonfire pit by the lakeside patio. Or make the quick 10 minute drive to downtown Traverse City for recreation, restaurants & entertainment!

*Dock & waterfront guaranteed available Memorial Day - Labor Day.


Other Things to Note:
* We provide enough toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags & dish soap to get your trip started; additional supplies can be purchased at one of several grocery stores close by
* The cottage has well water. Some guests prefer to bring their own bottled drinking water
* Firewood is not provided, but can be found at various stores around town
* Due to a short warm weather season, dock, kayaks & waterfront are guaranteed open and available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. It's possible they will be available before &/or after these dates, but not guaranteed.
* This property is available for monthly rent from November-April each year. Ask us about off season monthly rates!

My husband and I stayed here in January for two days! It was cold and snowy and this cottage was perfect for the cozy evenings inside! Plus it was the perfect size for just the two of us! Very clean and had all the amenities we needed! Awesome view of the lake and a close drive to downtown Traverse City! We would definitely stay here again! The host had great communication and was friendly!

Cozy, clean and comfy cottage. We had a great stay. Right on the lake. The views are breathtaking. We did a lot of kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing.Wish the cottage had a water softener though. Also, would be nice to have sharper knives or a knife sharpener, and a grill cleaning brush. Other than that, the place is fully stocked.

Amazing little cottage

Cottage is extremely nice, clean, easy to find. Nice deck to sit out on with beautiful view of the lake. Perfect amenities. Beds not super comfortable but we were only there 2 nights. Host was amazing with communication. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved it! It was a quiet neighborhood, great view of the lake and absolutely stunning sunrise. The location was close to parks, a variety of restaurants and shopping. The host was very friendly and always quick to respond when I reached out. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Stayed for a few days, in from Texas.

Check in was a breeze. Property was as billed from ads. We arrived around Thanksgiving, it began to snow and the views were made even more spectacular. Would rent again and recommend to those looking for something cozy on the water or anything Traverse City

Family Vacation

We had a great time at Silver lake. The dock and beach access were wonderful! Our family loved it. The house had everything we needed for a lovely home away from home. We have two little kids, so we didn't need a lot of space. It might be a tight squeeze with more then 2 adults. It was clean and well maintained.

Nice clean small cottage on quiet lake.

Comfortable. Clean. Trundle in second bedroom not really comfortable for adult. Wonder if regular size bed would fit in there- but, it was OK.
