Timeless, peaceful, and relaxing.

Loved the quiet mornings on the patio drinking coffee and delicious house made muffins, scones, and sticky buns. The beautiful building made me feel like I was stepping back in time and the service was truly outstanding! I can’t wait to go back!

A magical, memory-making stay at the Leland Lodge!

We had the most wonderful experience at the Leland Lodge—truly a gem tucked into one of Michigan’s most charming towns. Brian, the lodge manager, was amazing—so gracious and thoughtful. We had communicated by text before our stay, and when we arrived, he had generously upgraded our family to one of the cabins. It felt like stepping back in time to the classic family lodges of the 1950s, but with all the modern comforts. The cabin was spotless and well-appointed, with a great layout and both a front and back porch. Our kids loved having the lodge bikes to ride into Fishtown for shopping, fresh whitefish at The Cove, and dips in the crystal-clear (and refreshingly cold!) Lake Michigan. Watching the sun set over the Manitou Islands was pure magic. We made such special memories and are already dreaming of our return. Thank you, Brian and the Leland Lodge team, for an unforgettable stay!

Have stayed here many time over the years, but haven’t been back in about five years until this stay. Rooms are getting quite a bit tired. It’s a charming rustic facility but still they need to keep up with updating their rooms. I will say that the dining experience has been upgraded tremendously. We ate there as a couple on Monday night and brought a group of 12 for the Davison Reunion on Wednesday. Food was excellent, service was excellent, and we are so happy that they have upgraded the restaurant. We were supposed to have received gift cards, free, wine, and other things, including a room upgrade, which we never got. Not sure we’d stay there, but we definitely go back for the food.

I loved my stay at the Leland Lodge! It was located just down the road from downtown Leland. The beds were super comfortable, lodge was clean, great amenities! Would definitely stay here again.

We had such a lovely stay at the Leland Lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was just right. The room was spotlessly clean and had a cozy, comfortable feel that made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations. The location is very convenient—close to everything in Leland yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. It was the perfect balance. We also really enjoyed the dining options on-site; the food was delicious and offered something for everyone without needing to leave the property. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a home base for exploring the area, the Leland Lodge is a great choice. We’ll definitely be back!
