Even though still under renovation and recently reopened, our stay was comfortable and quiet. Troy and Audrey on front desk went above and beyond to take care of our every need and make our stay the best it could be. The free breakfast was full of choices and the cook/attendant was very friendly and attentive. They have a nice pool area, and arcade room that we didn't use. I did use the fitness room that is limited. It was a bit obvious that they opened while still needing to complete work and hire more staff. Details of cleaning could have been better. All surfaces weren't dusted well, the refrigerator and microwave needed to be wiped out. Our last night we noticed a new presence of small ants are the outside of the refrigerator. We were immediately moved to another room. I think waiting to open until they had more housekeeping staff and had more details completed would have been a better option. However, we did enjoy the stay and all staff was hustling. If the management is as good as the people they have already hired, I have no doubt finishing touches will be completed soon and it will be a great place to stay.

The breakfast was very good. The room was not ready when we arrived. Seems to be a common comment. Bathroom had clean towels, but also had two dirty ones on the door hook (one with a little blood). Corn chips (from others) on the floor along with misc. soil. Two dental flossers left on the floor. One bedspread was dirty or stained. Mattress was very soft (spouse awakened with a sore back). Coffee pot had a used coffee packet in it. We will not be back!

This was the nice hotel. The lobby is very nice and the staff is friendly. However, our room wasn't ready until 6:30 p.m.! Also, if you like soft pillows, bring your own. We were on the second floor and our ice machine was broken so we had to go down a floor, but no big deal. Overall, not a bad place to stay considering we needed an affordable room and it was the only hotel in the area with availability.

Homeless slept in parking lot the 2 nights we were there. The lock on the entrance "D" to the building was destroyed, no possible way to secure it. The place was filthy.

The entire motel is in need of a makeover. You can see that it is an older place that has been allowed to fall into need of repairs. The beds were comfortable and the motel quiet so we got a good nights sleep. The breakfast was a typical motel meal, microwaved eggs and sausage, a waffle maker and juice and coffee. We had stayed there a couple years before and could see how much it had gone downhill. Don't think we'll be staying there next time we go to Grayling.

The hotel had a decent outside appearance. But none of the outside security doors worked. Half the doors inside hotel were jammed,hard to shut or open. If there was a emergency we couldn't get out. No hot tub! Pool was freezing cold. Beds were comfy. Trash was never emptied. Bathroom never cleaned our whole stay. My son's room had hair all over shower wall and on some towels. Unsanitary. TV only got sports channel, for what we spent highly disappointed. We would moved if there were other motels with a vacant! Only real good thing was the cleanliness and upkeep of the breakfast bar. She was amazing,kept it cleaned and stock. Great attitude. Said she was with the Hotel for 20+years.it shows her pride in her work. Pool area garbage cans were full all the time. Equipment to play shuffleboard was broke and missing, game room was ok few games not working. Grounds around outside pool : the floor pads were raised and sloppy. This was our 2nd stay there and last. So sad. WATCH OUT ,the front desk will keep charging you. My friend got charged 3x for the same day. Unhappy customer.

Property really needs a refresh. Issues with springs in bed and dead ant found on pillow. Thin walls! Hair dyer hanger was pulled out of wall and just sitting on the counter. Dirty grout and corners in the bathroom. There are new owners but they are going to have to put a lot into this location to make it nice.

The beds were clean but, not made well. Hair and mold in bathroom. The toilet was not secure.Mold on ceiling above the bathtub. A lot of dust on a vent or something above the toilet. The room was repainted very poorly and I was not able to take off my shoes until I went to bed, The sink was not clean . The bathroom door had been split at the handle and was not able to lock it. Also, the door was very dirty on the bathroom side. No phone in room. Out dated furniture. The tv was fine.

definitely not worth the price!!

Almost paid $250 for a night. Everything was run down and broken. Light hanging from wall, tv didnt work, carpet coming off stairs, blow dryer didnt work. Only 2 sets of towels in room for a 4 person room. Bathroom still had someones dirty towel and washcloth in it ! They should not be allowed to charge over $100 for the condition of the hotel and room!!

The hotel was dirty. I never saw anyone cleaning. Our room was dirty. There were ants in our room. Urine on the back of the toilet and feces dried on the inside. The breakfast was good and the pool area. Pool was freezing but the kids still used it. Staff were nice.

We showed up at 7pm and were told the room still wasn't clean and there were multiple other parties still waiting for their rooms as well. When we didn't hear back about our room being ready by 8pm we found another property. We did not feel good about the property while we aited because the bathrooms were dirty, 2 of the 3 stalls were out of order, it smelled, did not have paper towels and one of the staff members was seen leaving the bathroom without washing their hands. I spoke with the front desk about not being charged for the reservation or cancellation and was told that I would not be. I never saw the room, but didn't feel good about it since the bathrooms were so bad.
