Beautiful hotel!

It was a stunning hotel. Our room looked like it was brand new. The view of the harbor was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

We loved our stay! Old school charm with amazing views! We loved the location because we could easily get to the park and downtown Bar Harbor but without the crowds of downtown. Loved Bill the piano player at night!

Decent but not really in town; internet issues

The hotel is clean and well maintained, and we had a decent stay overall. But it was not as close to the Bar Harbor village as I had expected, more on the outskirts of town outside of walking distance. And unfortunately, though the hotel had Wi-Fi, we had poor phone and wireless internet there. We struggled to get it to work during our stay, which meant that planning hikes in the park and other excursions required us to wait until we left our accommodations. I frankly would stay elsewhere if I come back to Acadia/Bar Harbor, which I likely will.
