Bordentown Break: Basic but Bright

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Bordentown – Trenton South was pleasant and met our expectations for a quick stopover. The property was very clean throughout, which we appreciated, and our room was tidy and comfortable. While the hotel itself is a bit dated in terms of style, it was well maintained and everything worked as it should. One of the nice surprises was the on-site Mexican restaurant, which made grabbing a bite to eat convenient after a day of travel. Having that option right there at the hotel was a definite plus, and the food was good. Parking was easy, check-in was smooth, and staff members were polite and efficient. We didn’t encounter any issues during our stay, and everything felt straightforward and stress-free. Overall, this was a solid, no-frills place to stay—clean, convenient, and comfortable enough for a short visit. It’s a good option if you’re passing through the area and need a reliable place to rest.

What a breath of fresh air. Upon entry the place was clean, and smelled really good. It’s updated, open and airy. The front desk reception staff were always friendly and smiling and wishing us a good day. The elevators were clean, didn’t stink and weren’t noisy. The ice machine and elevators aren’t next door to a room, so there’s no noise from guests getting ice or on and off the elevator. The room is very clean, the bathrooms didn’t have any mold or smell and were also clean. They have dove products. The bed— ugh- super comfortable!! Both a soft and firm pillow for options. The tv is 42 inch. Minimal channel selections, my only gripe. However this can be solved with an HDMI cord and your computer to watch Netflix or YouTube TV. Breakfast was actually good! A variety of juices, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, potato and a protein, as well as pancakes, and finally a variety of muffins and bagels. We checked out without a problem. Coffee was really good too, and always available in the lobby. I travel for work, and FINALLY, I have found the hotel that I can stay in that meets all of my needs. Mostly, and more importantly— felt SAFE.

This is more for room, wet towel as replacement, only one towel in room. Tub had hair in it. Hand towels left on toilet top. Wet face cloth left under sink. Friendly front desk staff.

Received a handicap room that was not very accessible besides the bathroom. Shower was roll in but had what looked like to molded lenolium stuck to the floor. Was not vacuumed. Chips all over the floor from previous guests. Blood on the chair in room. Hotel had a towel shortage because other guests couldn't get them either. Pumps in shower were broken. I brought everything up to management and she said she handled it but nothing was truly handled. Breakfast was supplied and was the worst breakfast I've had with holiday inn ever. This business does not uphold the company standards. I will not be coming back for my next trip to this location.
