Check in guy was friendly. The hotel is dated, but as we got to our room it was clean and did not smell. While the hotel had many guests we did not hear anything from neighboring rooms. Sleep was peaceful! Another plus is check-out is noon! Make sure and eat at Outer Edge Pizzeria!

I like Comfort Inn this is the hotel we always choose to use. The only thing I found wrong on this Hotel was it need to be cleaned. Carpets were dirty, the refrigerator froze all of our fresh food. Cherries, baby cucumbers, baby tomatoes.

Our stay started out great. The 1st room we had was still a bit dirty and didn't looked like it was turned over, so they upgraded us to a suite for free. The staff was great, however when we checked out after staying 4 days we were driving back to San Diego and after being on the road for a couple hours we noticed my wife left her iPad in the room. We checked the location and we saw the iPad was still at the hotel. We called the front desk to please retrieve the iPad for us and we would make arrangements for a family member to come and pick it up. Unfortunately the staff claimed it was not in the room or Hotel even though the find my iPad said it was. Several minutes after we called the iPad was shut off. We have contacted the GM of the property and are awaiting for more information.

The front desk guy was great, hospitable and attentive. He had tattoos, blondes hair- wish I got a name. There was a conflict there where a guest barged into the office and to the back desk- kind of ambushed him really. Getting into his face and irate, but the attendant used great de-escalation techniques, offered solutions, set firm boundaries and avoided a physical confrontation. I lingered to make sure the guest didn’t escalate into physical battery. We would stay there again in the future.
