I have been in the cleaning service for years unfortunately this hotel was subpar not awful just not what you expect for a carefree night of sleep The hottub and back stairs need a lot of attention as well as the pool area exhaust filters.and corners in bathrooms and hall carpets.. No bugs There was a great cow fight outside the window at breakfast..

I was charged a very large fee for “emails and phone calls” I have my own phones and did not use this service they said it was a pool fee for my family coming to swim for less than two hours (this is nowhere in the policy).

not as clean as expected

Our first room: 1) The air coming from the AC unit smelled of cigarette smoke; this was a nonsmoking room; 2) there was black mildew/mold in the grout above the rim of the tub. We went back down to the front desk. Initially the clerk didn't believe me "We don't allow smoking in the rooms." In addition, she said, "We don't have another room on the 4th floor." I never asked for the 4th floor. I only asked to not be on the 1st floor. We were given another room. The grout above the rim of the tub was better; but the AC unit was filthy!! I cleaned it myself with antibacterial wipes. It, however, didn't smell like cigarette smoke. The continental breakfast was better than I thought it would be. Lots of options; the food was hot; and the staff kept replenishing the hot items.

We stayed here two nights and felt safe and enjoyed our stay. Great property set back from the main road but close to everything at the same time. Friendly staff with coffee and breakfast served early. Would definitely recommend you stay here you wont be disappointed.

Would recommend

It's a good little hotel, the elevator was broken when we arrived but I got a call before hand warning me in advance. They did have it up and running after about two hours of us being there. The beds were a little hard but really comfortable, the rooms are a little small but the bathroom is spacious.
