Homewood was such a great hotel. The hot tub and pool were wonderful, the staff were amazing and the continental breakfast was so convenient. Next time I’m in Philly I’ll definitely stay there again.

The hotel was clean and felt safe while checking in and sitting in the lobby. The lobby was very well lit. The breakfast buffet was very well maintained by the staff and the food was good. Everything was pathetically pleasing and our hotel room was spacious. This was the only hotel I have stayed at that did not allow a late check out but that was the only downside.

1) The breakfast was below average. Poor variety and little quantity (the fruit salad was finished in 45 minutes and there was never a refill). Also, the lettuce was old, the chicken was hard, etc. 2) The hallways were full of dirt. It seems they don't vacuum very often 3) I was in a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. In the sofa bed area, the air conditioning vents were just for show, and no air was coming out 4) because of that, I needed to put the air conditioning freezing in the king area, and keeping the door open. So one area was freezing and the other not too hot. 5) The sofa bed was the most painful "bed" I have been in my life. Springs that were almost popping out, other parts of the bed sagging. I had to sleep in a corner and avoid moving all night.6) There is no cold water in the shower 7) I almost didn't use the kitchen, but there was a 3-inch hole in the drain directly into the food disposal with no protection and the knives were so dull they couldn't peel an apple. 8) My room had a couple of doors connecting to the room next to this one (in order to be able to accommodate a bigger family), so because of that, my room was not quiet because of my neighbors
