This was our first time to this property. It gives you a good traditional Taos stay in the heart of the area. The place is a lovely older hotel that has a great staff and unique design. All was perfect except we and a set of friends did have some room key issues and being an older hotel you do hear other guest through the walls. The staff and vendors including the restaurant in the hotel were very professional.

There were multiple dark black hair strands on the shower wall and some on the batbroom floor. Apparently the room was not very well cleaned. Also a hair on the bed sheets.

Perfect location. Walked to shops, restaurants, and bars. My room had a gas fireplace and the hotel was full of history and charm. When I come back to Taos this will be my preferred place to stay. Only negative was I thought the parking was included but it was an extra $10/day. But it's a great rate even at $10 more.

The property was a great location within walking distance to many dining options and stores for shopping. The room was was on the small side but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a loft area to hang out with couches and tables and chairs. The staff was friendly as well.

Lots of character and history in this hotel. We enjoyed using the common areas during our stay and had a great breakfast in the dining room the following morning. The hotel is right on the plaza and everything you want is a short walk from there.

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. The artwork in the room and common areas was museum quality. Being on the Plaza meant a short walk to any restaurant, cafe or gallery. Our room was super clean and the coffee shop in the lobby was excellent.

Wonderful Stay in Taos Plaza

Check in was pleasant. The lobby was spacious with local art and a coffee shop. The room was large with an adjacent sitting area complete with sofa, bar and kiva gas fireplace. Great central location, we walked to a fabulous Italian restaurant for dinner, though the in-hotel restaurant looked/smelled great, and had a guitarist. Parking was in a private lot. We will be back!
