Wonderful location as someone looking to attend conversion over at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Noticeable cheaper than downtown hotels and the only trade-off being having to transit which, speaking as someone from Calgary, isn’t even an issue as Vancouver’s transit is phenomenal! And locations for food were great near by. The only “gripe” was being unable to get a second blanket, but we made do so ultimately it wasn’t an issue. Staff were incredibly helpful and made checking in and out a breeze.

The Lobby of this hotel could use some updates. It is drab and uninviting. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. It is a 5 minute walk from a train station and about 10 minutes from the airport. There is an airport shuttle. It is far from downtown Vancouver. It is a good place to stay the night before an early flight.

Point form of issues - hotel shuttle from airport never came, when we called they said it will be there in 5 minutes, then we called 15 minutes later as we watched it drive right passed us, called again and finally after 35 minutes it arrived - rooms were not ready - Lobby full of people and luggage’s Luggage storage room is NOT safe, no lock or safe keeping of peoples belongings however if you need to use the public washroom you must ask front desk for a key? No logic there at all?? - staff at front desk were not helpful - asked for a manager to speak with and was told “she is too busy to talk to you” - lobby is dated and not much sitting room for guests as it was break time and the housekeeping staff all take there break in the breakfast area so no seats for guests - finally got our room 4 hours later after spending the day waiting because we did not feel safe leaving our luggage in an insecure area - room was decent and spacious, clean Location was good as there are a lot of restaurants/ fast food/ Starbucks and casino in walking distance Overall, the lack of customer care, unorganization and frustration with shuttle I would NOT stay here again, Hampton Inn is right next door chose them!

The Days Inn Vancouver airport could have a wider food selection for breakfast - no yogurt or muffins. The bed was fine. It is very close to the SkyTrain station so it was easy to get around. Also “The Story Cafe” which is just a block away has very good food.
