This hotel is not as pictured. It is old and dingy worn and tired. The room had a terrible smell stains all over the carpet utterly disgusting. I walked out on the room and they still charged me. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I booked the hotel a month prior to my arrival & their cancellation policy insists you must cancel three days before or pay in full. However due to no fault of mine each of our flights from Halifax to Castlegar BC were delayed. It became impossible for us to be in Vancouver for June 13th because we were stuck in Montreal. I called the booking reference & was told I must call the actual hotel which I did. I was told that they would not refund my payment because I cancelled. I didn’t willingly cancel my reservation I couldn’t get to Vancouver due to Air Canada flight delays. Then I get a text asking me to rate my stay at Travellodge by Wyndham for a hotel room I was forced to fully pay for yet never set foot in the hotel because I couldn’t get out of Montreal. I cannot believe this customer service & it is a complete rip off to insist the booking must be paid in advance then a person’s flights get delayed so they can’t possibly get to Vancouver but the hotel gets to keep the money!

I was startled that the hotel had no shuttle service (I thought this was part of the package). It was terribly shabby and dirty. I tried all day to contact the front desk and the phone was not answered until late evening. I did not feel safe or comfortable in my room and especially in the common areas. There is no breakfast as advertised - if you ask the froint desk you might get a granola bar. I really suggest finding another hotel.

This property feels very neglected and bare bones. A lunch bag breakfast was a real low rate in my book. Travelodge needs to take some funds out of the onwards pickets and invest in their properties. I would not stay here again. Broken window in #713, mold around the window caulking, the window so dirty it was hard to see out of. The mattresses were comfortable but the top two blankets were in hard need of a change out. I was disappointed in this property.
