Hotel is centrally-located in a very walkable area. Friendly + helpful staff, clean room, extra effort is given to being eco-friendly. Would give highest rating if the room had a chair to sit in. At $400 a night a chair for reading or tv should be a given.

The location of the hotel was great! Super convenient. The staff was top notch and very friendly and helpful. The Bookstore restaurant in the lobby was very pleasant for breakfast or a night cap. Our room was nice, however the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the toilet was loose/rocked. The hotel lobby had a really uninviting smell in the earlier hours but maybe that’s a sewer problem in Seattle? Overall liked our stay and would probably stay again.

We had our reservation messed up. We were one night short. Instead of honoring the price we paid the last 4 nights they chargers us 1 and 1:2 the nightly rate . Very disappointing since we were here for our anniversary .

Too many hidden costs

It was a wonderful room except all the hidden additonal costs - totaling over $100 when we arrived. This left a bad taste in the mouth

My husband and I have stayed at this property several times since we were married there 15 years ago. We’ve stayed in several different rooms throughout the property. However, this room, which was supposedly an upgrade was one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed at. The fireplace had battery operated candles and half of them didn’t work. When laying on the bed, you could reach over and touch the bathroom. While in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder is literally right next to the bowl hitting you when you sit on it. There was a seem down the middle of the wall. And the room felt like it might’ve been a closet converted into a room. I could swear that the website said that there was room service, but they actually was not. The restaurant that is connected to the hotel was understaffed making a quick meal over an hour. I will say, though that the staff was extremely friendly. They were also very helpful even the poor waiters that we dealt with the restaurant were super nice. I’m not sure that we will ever stay at this hotel again. It is definitely not the hotel that it used to be.

Was nice, sucked no restaurant there for kids. Only a bar / cafe for 21 and older. Smelled like dog but pet friendly so understanding. Staff was nice, and room was big enough for roll in bed (did get suite room)
