Traveling Through

We were staying the night on our travels, and we are an older couple. We found the room clean; in fact, during our stay, this was the cleanest room we stayed in. My wife had a cleaning business, so she noticed those things. The fixtures showed slight wear, and the bathroom was a little tight. We did not use the pool. The breakfast did not start till 7:00 AM, and we left at 6:30, so we missed that. We were happy with the room for the price we paid

It was quiet and in a safe area of town. The rooms were run down, and dirty. Our comforter had clumps of dried mud at the foot of the bed, the floor had crumbs and dirt that we cleaned up with a towel, and the shower had another person's hair around the drain.

Slippity doo-dah

The room was clean and comfortable. We felt safe. They welcome dogs of any size, no additional charge for 1 dog. There was an good amount of icy weather that came through. Ice stuck around both days we were there. Parking lot and sidewalks had no attention for the icy conditions, no salt/sand applied. Almost fell several times. We've stayed here several times and will stay again, but recommend at least an attempt to remedy the slippery conditions. I work in insurance and that is a claim that would likely get paid. Could be quite costly.
