This stayed me off Orbitz and Staywise. The property was under construction, but the website and Orbitz never said so. We arrived and wondered what on earth we had walked into. We were surprised the door even opened. It was a trap with no reception, plaster, spray paint, a strong epoxy smell, timber, and tile everywhere. We didn't want to stay and hotel wouldn't give money back nor would Orbitz. We felt we where tricked. We where wondering where we were. Eventually 27 min, a lot of fuss and many phone calls later, the manager agreed that the Orbitz manager could refund our money. The whole experience was the pits. The only redeeming feature was the receptionist who maintained her composure and to her credit phoned the manager to ask if she could refund us. Seriously inconvenienced and DO NOT Reccommend. Will never stay there and was frustrated with Orbitz.

Full construction zone. Smells chemically and drywall dust everywhere. Noisy and walls literally ripped down to the studs. No lobby or kitchen area. They should either disclose the extents of construction or close until it’s done.

Completely under construction. There was absolutely no warning about it or if they are even open for business. As soon as you walk in the front doors it's a construction site. Then calling to see if we're supposed to go in another way, the front desk is not taking calls.

Mostly great, apart from construction

The hotel was in the midst of renovation so there was a lot of construction debris all around the outside. However, the room was newly remodeled and very nice. The beds were especially comfortable. The breakfast wasn't great but was included. The staff was cordial. Would likely stay again if passing through.

No Response

I did not stay at the motel. I made a reservation and asked for ground floor room, and received a return e-mail saying the property was being remodeled and no ground rooms were available, which seemed logical. But when I e-mailed back to accept a room on another floor (I am disabled), I got no response. I tried repeatedly to contact the property by phone but never got an answer, so I stayed at a different property in Montrose, instead. I am asking to not be charged for a stay I did not make.

Very helpful staff. Relayed process while motel is being renovated. Very pleased. On comment, the room did not have a bar to hang clothes. Don't know if it hasn't been installed yet, or room is designed without one.

The property is being renovated! Surprise! Even the room you stay in may not be finished! The crown molding was missing in our room and I brushed construction dust off door when I entered. Bed was soft and clean though.

This Inn was being renovated during my stay. The new rooms are nicely appointed. You get satellite or cable TV, including local channels. The breakfast was similar to what you would get at a Comfort Inn--scrambled eggs, link sausages, waffles--but there were also hash brown potatoes. The staff members were all pleasant.
