A Wyndam property below standard.

Hotel was old and worn but clean except for elevator rug that was tattered and filthy. No coffee maker in room. Old microwave door was hard to open. Had a warning decal noting that. Mini-fridge did not work. Black out shade had rips in it. Old thin bedspreads, no blankets. Old Wall lighting in between beds was loose and hanging crooked. High price did not equal conditions.

Relative to other local lodging options in Fort Pierce are this was a good value. Our stay was only about 14 hours. Our guest room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked as it should. Breakfast was adequate. Check in was efficient, but not warm or welcoming. We would consider returning for future stays in the area.

The gentleman who checked us in was great! Other staff we met on our stay were all very friendly. Our room was comfortable and seemed pretty clean. Unfortunately, I discovered a cockroach problem in the bathroom in the morning :-( I showed the photos to staff and they apologized profusely and marked the room for maintenance.
