The first night was in a partially ocean view room that I had to call and change due to the heavy musty and mouldy smell that was triggering an asthma like situation. The staff that night immediately took care of me and changed the room to a clean room. Overall it was an ok experience. Breakfast is not included. Shout out to the beach manager;the tall guy who made sure we had a greta time.

Marriott Hutchinson is a great location, beautiful beach, great staff. Although the building that we stayed needs a complete Reno, carpet not very clean and lighting is terrible. The breakfast at the restaurant across from the main hotel bldg is expensive and the food is terrible. Too many great restaurants in the area, don't spend your money there.

Contrary to the description, there was only one chair at the table, no bathrobes and the elevator was out of order making check-out a challenge with our bags and crowds doing the same.

I liked a campus on the beach. Liked the Tiki bar right near the beach and they recognized Memorial Day with flags (+ R, W, B margueritas!) and having umbrellas and chairs (for the daily resort fee). Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good bar at the pool! Lovely island-designed bedroom!

The 3 stars are for staff - from the fabulous Nolan who was tiki bartender and the same at both our welcome reception and wedding. Along with the other gentleman who bartended the wedding, who was also wonderful. The entire staff at the wedding was also very friendly and accommodating. From there the rest of the experience was meh. Though the property was gorgeous... The front desk staff, one particular member, was miserable. The prices are exorbitant and they don't even offer complimentary coffee or a continental breakfast. The banquet hall was half freezing and half comfortable because they were having issues with the air. $140 resort fees for what?! The jacuzzi barely worked at the pool needed to be cleaned. Pet friendly was great but at an uncapped $50 a night on top of already high rates for a balcony view of the parking lot. Pretty disappointing.
