The Coast has been our 'go to' for the past 20 years when we have come to Victoria (almost annually). Phenomenal location. Room was incredibly beautiful - the view was the best we have ever experienced. Wonderful service. The only negative was 1 elevator was down so the wait time was sometimes long. We took the stairs (and on the 10th floor, that was a sweat!) However, would always come back 100% everytime. Location, location, location! (And the hotel is rooms were beautiful.)

Rooms were ok, aside from that for the amount of money you pay there werent many perks We showed up over an hour past our checkin time and our room wasnt ready. We were offered free parking but the money paid for parking never got refunded on my credit card. One of the elevators werent working making it hard to use the elevator at all since it was always busy. The parking elevator quit working while we were there and without any stair access to the parking area forced me to walk out and around to get back into the building. The cleaners cleaned our room but never emptied the garbages or changed our towels. We had to go find them the next day and ask for this to be done You would think for the cost of the room that you would have recieved a breakfast voucher or discount at the very least and parking should be included in my opinion. There should have been something offered for all the issues that happened during our stay

PRO Nice staff, good bathroom/water pressure. Bidet a plus, Pool was nice but only 4 ft deep. Close to fisherman’s wharf. CONS Elevator service interrupted trip, both the parking garage and the main elevator out constantly, had to use the stairs with aging mom not fun or desired. Room not ready at 4pm as described on site. Air conditioner in room extremely loud when starting, either get woken up or have no AC. television and programming very old, usually I do not care about TV but this service was laughable. With all the choices in Victoria I wouldn’t stay here again.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend Our experience at this hotel was extremely underwhelming. There were no basic amenities provided — not even a robe or complimentary drinking water. We were told to purchase water from a vending machine on another floor, which turned out to be empty. The cleanliness was unacceptable: used toilet paper was left in the bathroom, the hand soap dispenser was half empty, and the slippers provided were clearly not meant for single use — they were neither clean nor hygienic. The air conditioning unit was unbearably loud, making it difficult to sleep, and the front desk staff were unhelpful and indifferent. There was no option for a buffet breakfast, and the in-room TV was outdated with no working channels or streaming services. Overall, this was a deeply unsatisfying experience. The hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations of comfort, cleanliness, and service. The security of the hotel was missing too.

Reed the shuttle driver is fantastic, he was ready and able to pick us up after dinner twice. He is very friendly and accommodating. The staff at the desk always has a smile and willing to help with everything, and housekeeping always makes you comfortable with whatever you need.

The only downfall during our stay was they only had 1 elevator working for the other was under repair. They repaired them during both night and day. Our room was by the elevators and we could hear all the banging. They did offer earplugs which we gladly accepted.
