The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s just an old place that needs a lot of love and updated. Beds and pillows should be upgraded soon!! It is close to town and very convenient. It’s ok for a night or two but that’s it.

If you are paying off season or mid week rates this is a perfectly acceptable motel. It’s closer to downtown than some of the other hotels of similar price points in the area. It has a decent continental breakfast with some nice hot items. Beds are comfortable enough. But when you are paying weekend summer rates it feels a little less nice. It’s a bit grungy just more from age than lack of cleaning. Our shower didn’t seem to have very hot water and the door lock didn’t work well, it took 4-5 tries every time. The room smelled like it may have been a smoking room many years ago. But we’ll probably stay again if we have to go to Walla Walla on a wine weekend as it is one of the more affordable choices and we try not to spend too much time in the room anyway.

Nice, large room, clean but outdated

We enjoyed a king suite with a kitchen and table. We were having our house painted so we needed a place to stay to get away from the mess and fumes. We cooked dinner both nights in the hotel. We brought our own pots and pans as the ones available were very scratched. There was a dishwasher, but no soap, so we washed everything by hand. It was still nice to have the extra space while we were here. The jacuzzi was nice, the pool was a little cool but refreshing. The shower was nice, but the space was small and the door stuck. Still, I would stay here again, even with the outdated furnishings. I liked the air conditioner which stayed on all night instead of going off and on and I liked the large space.

This hotel was disgustingly dirty. The carpets looked like they had not been cleaned forever. In the hallways, and in the rooms, our bed was slanted down, just an overall bad experience. The staff was friendly enough though.

Upon checking into the room, after driving almost 300 miles for a trip over, the room was covered in bugs. All over the bathroom and vanity area. We brought pictures to the front desk, the lady was trying to be helpful but had no other room options available. Said to speak with the manager in the morning after 9am, we had business to attend too, when we returned to the front desk at 3pm the manager was already gone for the day. We felt super uncomfortable staying at this hotel. Super ridiculous and was not offered any type of compensation or even an apology for the disgusting room. Would’ve loved to speak with the manager but did not happen. Will not be staying here again. Very disappointed.

The front lobby is gorgeous. Breakfast was good lots of selections. The hallway had stains. In our room there were stains on the floor and on the couch. We had two rooms and both felt dirty and had stains.

Family mini vacation

This is our third year coming to Walla Walla for the wineries, food and entertainment. The hotel is older and it did have a bit of a musky smell in our room, but I assume that’s normal considering the age of the hotel. Other than that, the staff were great front desk was amazing when we arrived and when we left. Breakfast was also good. The major thing that we loved was how close downtown was to us. We did not have to move our car we left it at Hotel parking lot for the entire trip. We had a fabulous time.
