There is not much I didn’t like about this hotel. I booked this hotel as a stopover on our travels for the night and hoped it would be ok. It definitely exceeded expectations. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was clean, and the water pressure was good. I would definitely use this hotel again!

This is an old property which has been rebranded. I envisioned something more from a Wyndham facility. Water pressure quite poor, bathroom uncomfortably small, room appointed with decor I would call dingey, and breakfast was poor. I heard another guest say, "What is this? A joke?"

Breakfast options were practically nonexistent. We went to breakfast between 730 and 8 AM. Should have been a full breakfast bar. No eggs, sausage/bacon biscuits and gravy. The refrigerator case had a picture of open milk and three small yogurts. If you like bread, they have dried out bagels and a few of muffins. You can make your own tiny pancakes.. Very disappointed.

This is our stopover when traveling down to Florida from NY. Walterboro is a very small quaint little town and Microtel is my number one choice for our stopover. I have tried other hotels in the area and prefer this one over them all. They have reasonable rates for dogs and hotel rooms. The room are large, super clean, I go through the bedding with a black light and nothing comes up ever, same with the remote and bathroom. The hotel is off the road, so everything is quiet. The staff is extremely friendly and considerate. If you’re looking for a nice place that is clean and comfortable, give this one a try. On my first stay I had left my iPad behind. They contacted me immediately to inform me and coordinated with me for its return.
