The property is a bit worn. The window did not lock. The elevator buttons had to be pushed twice—once for floor, and again to open when it stopped—maintenance or repairs needed on the button panels/wiring. Location is OK, there are a slew of mediocre bars 1/2 block away.

The bathroom was very dirty. The whole hotel smelled like weed. They make you put a 50 dollar deposit down even though you paid for a room.I did not see any bed bugs, the tv had good channels and the bed was comfortable.

The staff is always nice at check in and I go often and se familiar faces and it’s my first choice coming to Waterloo. No it’s not the ritz but it’s bug free and clean and the staff is nice to me when I visit and I visit often and if there’s not a room available and I have to go elsewhere the staff is helpful finding something else but it’s my first choice when I visit Waterloo

I didn’t like everything about the property I was told non smoking room well that was a let down I was sleeping in a room that was stinky smell like they’ve been smoking in for years,also they told me they were going to clean it the other day all they did was take the trash out that was it I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Nightmare

Unfortunately experience as the room smell like cigarettes and so the lobby, outsite in the parking lot is a strong smell to marijuana, a lot of homeless people around the building. Not a pleasant night for children as we have to stay awake all night on fear for all the commotion of the firearm shots that happened that night and all the presence of police. Horrible experience, never again.
