Sounds like something is in the walls and ceiling. Everything was fine and perfect until we turned the lights out and we were trying to fall asleep. It was just after midnight. Sounds like a mouse or a small possum. The room itself was very clean for a ground floor room. The pictures on the web are misleading. Those are for the front house. The motel rooms in the back are not as nicely decorated, but they are clean. The doors need a dead bolt lock, they have a security chain but that is all. There was a microwave, mini fridge, and toaster. Very few outlets to charge your devices though.

Good price, clean and comfortable!

We had a lovely stay. It was a very quiet place, we had everything we needed and we were close enough to get to Ogunquit and Portland. The price could not be beat. Lots of restaurants near by. Old school motel vibes still had the old keys.

Very cute place in Wells, great central location and access to nearby beaches and restaurants! Friendly owners and well kept, comfy rooms. Grocery store across the street is very convenient! The only thing to know ahead of time is a kitchenette here doesn’t include a hot plate or stovetop/oven—a microwave is available, but only the queen studio appt includes something more. Not a big deal if you are aware ahead of time; as food in this area is pretty expensive, so it would have been nice to be able to cook with groceries to cut some costs. Overall, really cute and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere and well kept. Thanks!
