The eggs were right on.. The salsa perked them up. The waffle covered in the dried fruit was a treat. The variety of cereal and pastries was satisfying. Got me started for the day. The tea also had a good mix.

Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Room cleanliness was just OK but comfortable with good temperature control. Fairly quiet during the night except for the occasional semi engine-braking on the nearby interstate. Wife enjoyed the breakfast and said it was very good. Was told that the hotel is scheduled for a major renovation soon.

Exposed carpets tacks and ice cold pool

There were tack strips exposed by carpet peeling away from the bathroom door jam; we can to wear shoes while in room to avoid getting tetanus. Also, the pool was ice cold, but front desk staff said they couldn’t increase the temperature above the Hilton standard temperature. Good to know! I can avoid any Hilton in future during family trips.

I wasn’t allowed to check in just 45 minutes early, despite the room being ready. After traveling, that small accommodation would have made a big difference. Additionally, the pillows were not comfortable and seemed low in quality.
