Awful smell

Reservation could not be located in their system. Staff was cold and rude. Reservation finally located. Spent 30 minutes waiting for them to find me a room on the computer. Said I would receive an upgrade because it was the only rom available. Horrible room. Smell was putrid. Dirty carpet. Slimy doorknobs and light switches. Sheets wouldn't stay on bed. Shower head spray was a light mist. But worst of all the shower door would not slide closed. Noticed it was off the runner. Huge safety hazard.

Front Desk staff went above and beyond. Both ladies we encountered T checkin and late evening were so wonderful to my daughter and I! The garbage on 2nd floor near elevator was over full the 1.5 days we were there that would be the only negative thing I noticed.

Cozy and good location

Nice stay, great customer service since i accidentally booked the wrong type of room, accommodating! But...walls are thin and kids next door running around and jumping on beds, up and down the halls until after midnight was rough.

A real disappointment

It was in need of serious renovation. Our room keys mostly didn’t work even after replacement . Only one ice machine worked in the building. I couldn’t get the wifi to work. Shower was very weak and not very hot. I rolled towards the center of the bed so not comfortable. Fabric torn of the one chair. It was grungy in the bathroom floors with the bathroom door damaged. Price was over $200 US … NOT WORTH IT. When we mentioned this to the desk clerk he just said too bad .. you booked it through a third party.

It's in a really convenient location. The staff were super nice and everything was clean. A little loud as our room was right next to the stairs and the door would slam shut. The pool was nice, there's a shop with snacks and drinks at the front desk. Tea and coffee available also at the front desk area. Breakfast was ample. Not the greatest but it's free and had waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt etc. Parking was very easy.

The staff truly made my family, and I feel welcome and at ease. Their friendliness and professionalism created an atmosphere where I felt I had known them for years. Being in a place where everyone seemed genuinely caring and attentive was comforting. I appreciate their efforts to make my experience enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was also delightful. The lady who ran the dining service was excellent!

The bathroom was a bit dated and the heating and ac was very loud without adjustment. Breakfast was bland. Other than that the pool was good and overall a decent stay.

Have stopped here many times over the decades. They have kept it new and fresh. No complaints with what they can control. Rooms on side facing highway tend to be noisy all night. Worse in the winter when the leaves are down.
