This property is in an excellent location and the room has good facilities. However as a dog friendly hotel it has a lot of dogs staying so is not great for asthma sufferers or people with pet allergies. The room and all common areas smelled strongly of dog and there was a very noisy dog next door that barked a lot. The sofa bed had crumbs on the sheets, the air con was super noisy and blew on the bed on one speed only. In summary great if you want a hotel where dogs are super welcome but not if you want a pet free break.

Wonderful hotel with brilliant facilities. We loved our stay at Summit Lodge - staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and spacious, the facilities including the pool and hot tub were great. This property was absolutely amazing. We had a one bedroom suite that was new, clean and beautiful. There was a smart TV with Internet access and the apartment was very tastefully decorated with two balconies. Besides an abundance of restaurants to choose from there was also very nice supermarket directly across the street where you could buy anything your heart desires. We spent three days in Whistler, did a lot of hiking, outdoor dining, and enjoyed the beautyful nature, as well as the energy of the Whistler village, we will definitely be coming back to Summit Lodge for more.

Clean and nice

Room was great, nice balcony overlooking the pool. There were snacks and Gatorade drinks there that I didn't realize you had to pay for as the card with the prices slipped down and I didn't see it so had to pay $15 for 2 drinks and a bag of chips. Probably better to have these items in the lobby if you want to purchase them as of course the kids will want them but way overpriced. Only other thing is that there needs to be a plug for charging your phones on or by the bedside table, most hotels have these in bedside lamps now. Had to plug my phone in across the room from a plug under the table. Other than that the room was clean and nice, great location.
