Great to stay in a two story cabin equipped with a kitchen and patio! This was very close to West Glacier entrance! However, this property needs s lot of maintainence (broken AC unit, broken landscaping lights, weeding, scrub the bird poop off the front patio, fix TP holder, windows don't lock), and the owners need to replace the pots and pans (they're Teflon and very scratched up), the dishes are all mismatched, they provided 7 champagne glasses and 1 wine glass but no wine opener (you have to buy one at the gift shop)..

We had a wonderful experience at the Great Northern Resort. The staff were wonderful Very friendly and helpful. The room was great! It was spacious, clean, quiet and convenient to Glacier National Park. A big surprise was the daily goodie bag!

Family owned lodge that shows! We stayed in the lodge and it was so nice. I loved the set up, the deck overlooking the premises (wrap around) and the vaulted ceilings. It was so quiet too. We never heard any of the other guests. The ice machine came in handy, the complimentary snack bags were life saving before hiking and site seeing. Highly recommend!

The lodge is so cute with a comfortable common area for the guests. We enjoyed meeting others who were staying there on the outside deck. They also provide hiker snack bags which came in handy!

Cleaning service was a little confusing. Note in room said no service unless we put request...they had a door hanger that said " out sightseeing, please make up room" we put that on but they did not clean room ...had to call for towels and to empty trash. Friendly staff and very comfortable bedding. :)

Adorable lodge!

Amazing little place right outside Glacier National Park! We loved the area and chose Great Northern for its location. We were a 5-minute drive from the West entrance to Glacier National Park. The lodge was adorable! The rooms all open up to a main sitting area with a grand staircase. There were hiking bags with fruit snacks prepared for us! The room had a TV, microwave, and great bathroom products. The ONLY downside was the bed comfort. The mattresses are old. We could feel the springs when sitting or laying on the bed. We actually read the previous reviews stating that the beds were uncomfortable and decided to go for it anyway because location, location, location! Despite the spring action, I actually slept well, so it might not bother you either.

The property was located near glacier national park! It was peaceful, quiet property! However you had to drive to Columbia falls or whitefish for food/dining or grocery which was atleast 30mins from the property! But overall I loved my stay! The staff was friendly and the room/bathroom were clean!

Cabins were not clean. Sprinklers would turn on randomly so we couldn't have a fire in the evening. Unkept property, the pond was gross but dyed blue. The only good thing about this stay was the view.
