The manager/host at this property overbooked the rooms and when we arrived at 10 at night with our child we were told he had no rooms even though I had pre-booked and pre-paid. He also lied and said he called me and he said he called Expedia but he did not. Expedia assisted in relocating us in a timely manner thankfully. There was also another lady who had booked and the hotel manager also told her there were “no rooms available”.

I actually didn’t stay. When I came to check in at 10pm… (the room had been reserved for a week). They said that they needed to go and make sure it had been cleaned. While I was waiting a guy came in and put his key card on the desk and said, my wife said there is no way she’s staying in that room and walked out. So then when the other worker came back and said my room was not clean, they offered to let me wait for 30-40 minutes while they cleaned it. I decided that was totally ridiculous and how can they not have a reserved room ready. Also… if those other people refused to stay there I can only imagine what it was like even “cleaned”. So I asked for a refund and left. I should maybe leave another star since they did issue a refund and were embarrassed by the whole thing, but honestly, I was exhausted, it was late, I was irritated and found a very nice super 8 just down the road that was very clean and literally had one room left for the weekend … and it was clean and ready to go.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but in this instance it’s deserved. First the good. The desk staff was great. The rooms needed to be updated, but they were at least clean. There wasn’t an air conditioner in the room I was in and it was warm in Kalispell so I had to open the window, which was extremely hard to do and was a fire hazard. The hotel has a lot of homeless and sketchy drug type users hanging in and around the parking lot. In the six days I was there, there were two instances where the police were there. I didn’t have a car this trip, but I would very leary to park my car there. It always made me feel uneasy going to and from my room. I would pick another hotel in Kalispell.

The conferred reservation was for the 1st floor. Received the second-floor room. Had to carry my luggage to the 2nd floor (I'm 76 Years old. The room was super hot. Contacted the manager, and he informed me there was no A/C. Told the manager I wanted a refund and to cancel my room. The manager couldn't cancel my stay. He had to have his boss come in to complete the cancellation. A half hr later, I got out of this place. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE.

Great spot to rest during our trip! Clean and friendly service, no complaints. Walls are a bit thin so I wore earplugs as I am a sensitive sleeper.
